• Ephesians 2:8-10–>For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
• Grace-unmerited favor
Grace: A favor done without expectation of return; the absolutely free expression of the loving kindness of God to men finding its only motive in the bounty and benevolence of the Giver; unearned and unmerited favor.
• Grace is also God’s empowerment to live in His purpose.
• James 2:14-22- Faith without works is dead.
• How body without spirit, Faith without works is dead
• Titus 2:11-15–>Grace of God teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly ,righteously and godly in the present age.
• “We are created in Christ Jesus for Good works”
I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.-Ecc 3:12-13
• What is work? Does only doing Christian ministry qualifies to be work? What about the jobs that we do ,with out vocational skills?
